Arne Jacobsens Own House, 1928
The dollhouse is an identical copy of Arne Jacobsens own villa on Gotfred Rodes Vej 2 in Charlottenlund, format 1:16. We will accept pre-orders on format 1:12 houses as well. Final prices to be posted later. Ready for delivery Christmas 09. OBS: The house showcased on the picture above and elsewhere on this website is a prototype in the format 1:14 aproximately.
Material: 3 mm thick quality plastic with thin layers of ironsheets inside.
Size: Heigth: 37 cm; Width: 71 cm; Depth:62 cm;
Weigth: ca. 12 kgs.
Packaging: Exclusive Minimii giftbox with a handle for easy carriage.
Delivery: Christmas 2009 (expected)
- The roof and walls can be mounted and dismounted with the help of magnets. In this way more children can play at the same time from all sides.
- Thin layers of iron sheets has been placed inbetween the floors, in the ceiling and in the walls. This in done to make it easy to fasten and move around our collection of magnatised lamps, arts and accessories.
- Every designer lamp added to the collection will have its own little lithium battery. No need to place house near an electical wall socket. Location location location !
Playfriendly
Very few changes has been made from the original house, thus to make it more playfriendly:
First floor
Hall: Windfang and built-in closets have been moved. The staircase to 2. floor has been executed as an open staircase.
Kitchen: the serving room has been made a part of the kitchen.
2. floor
Bathroom: Little toilet and bathroom have been merged.
Room: Two small children rooms have been merged to one big room.
Basement
Not a part of the dollhouse.
